Doug Keller

Partnerships Lead, YouthTruth

Doug develops partnerships with educators that help them harness student and stakeholder feedback to accelerate improvement.

Prior to joining YouthTruth in 2021, Doug helped to build a community for youth writing in New Orleans as the founding executive director of 826 New Orleans, expanded the impact of the largest youth writing network in the country at 826 National, and supported youth in pushing for healthier, more humane technology at the Center for Humane Technology. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, Doug was an elementary school teacher in Orleans Parish and Jefferson Parish public schools in Louisiana. He has also served as a facilitator through SEED (Seeking Education Equity and Diversity), and as a teacher consultant for the Greater New Orleans Writing Project.

Doug studied film and writing at Emerson College. His passion for stories and creativity carries through to his work with educators and young people. He lives in Santa Rosa, CA where he enjoys exploring public parks and trails with his two young sons.
